Instructed Life Drawing FULL
Location: Durham Art Gallery. Dates: Thursdays: October 3, 10, 17, 24, 31. Designed for both beginners and those wanting to refresh their drawing skills, this course will enable confidence in drawing from a live model. Classic drawing basics will be paired with lots of tips and opportunity to focus, as we study the human body. Talented models will provide challenging poses, both clothed and unclothed, sometimes enacting well-known art scenes. People sometime ask: why draw from a model? The short answer is that if you can draw a human, you can draw anything. Themed costume nights! Cost: $170 / $150 for gallery members.

Create your own edition of multiple images, or greeting cards (including simple letterforms) in one or more colours. Possible areas of study depending on class interest: Japanese printing, water-soluble oil monotypes etc. Pre-registration required. The first night is an introduction for beginners.
